TRAILER HIRE FROM EXPRESS CAMPERS
TERMS
& CONDITIONS
HIRE FEE:
The
Hire fee for one (1) week’s hire of any of our camper trailers is:

 | $150/week (Inc G.S.T.) Canvas Mesh wall option for Kimberley Kamper |

Hiring is for one week or part thereof i.e. 7 days $880 or
for example 9 days $1131.43.
This is payable by cash, bank cheque or credit card.
Long term hire is still at the weekly rate.
BOOKING FEE:
Although we will tentatively book over the phone, reservations are only
confirmed with the payment of one week’s hire.
This booking fee is non-refundable.
BOND:
At the time of pick up you will be
required to pay a $2000 SECURITY DEPOSIT/BOND (your
credit card can be imprinted but no money deducted, or
can be paid by cash or cheque). This is the limit of the
Hirer’s liability for any damages or cleaning and repairs that
may occur to our trailer whilst in your possession.
PAYMENT OF FEE:
Payment in full is required for hire 4
weeks in advance. This can be made by credit card, cash or
bank cheque. Some charges may apply to payments made by
credit card in excess of $1000.
PICK UP:
Pick
up is between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. - 5 days a week or by arrangement.
RETURN:
The vehicle is to be returned to Express
Tools & Camping, Orangegrove Avenue, on the agreed date
between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., or unless notified of any
extenuating circumstances; in which case payment and revised
delivery date will be required. Failure to inform Express
Campers of any late delivery will result in us deeming the
vehicle stolen by the Hirer/Bailee.
The return of the unit to Express
Campers, Orangegrove Avenue, Unanderra is always to be at the
cost of the Hirer. This is not a component cost of the
Bond/Deposit.
CLEANING:
It is a requirement of Express Campers
that the trailer will be returned in a reasonably clean state,
removal of mud, dust and stones, washed and/or pressure
cleaning of the trailer and chassis, sweeping, chamoising and
general cleaning of canvas/vinyl components will be deemed
necessary. Prior to pick up the trailer will be offered in a
detailed/cleaned state and any canvas imperfections so noted.
BRAKES:
Some of our trailers require by law the
fitment of brakes where the trailer is over 750kg G.V.M. Some
longer trailers may require the fitment of electric brakes,
which would be at the cost and responsibility of the Hirer
prior to pick up.
ELECTRICAL:
Our trailers are all wired to an Industry
Standard and are fitted with 7 pin round large fittings,
similar to the Utilit Car Adaptor Model No. H1715/Trailer
Adaptor No H1716. You will be required to have this fitting
or any adaptor at pick up, or conversely inform us 48 hours
prior of your requirements. Any correction of your vehicle’s
electrics would be carried out at a charge to you of $55/hour,
plus parts.
IDENTIFICATION OF HIRER:
We use a standard 100-point proof of identity as used by most
commercial institutions. The
following points can be used:

RETURN OF BOND:
Your deposit/bond will be returned in
cheque form within a 7 to 10 day period and after inspection.
If there is any extra cleaning required this will be done at
the rate of $55 per hour and repairs would be done at invoice
cost re. Subcontract repairs, e.g. canvas or vinyl repairs.
Deduction of these amounts will be taken from your deposit.
