Express Tools and Camping has been trading on the same premises in the Illawarra, supplying local businesses, for the past 30 years.

We have built our business on trust, integrity and only the highest quality service for our customers.

We were founded as Expressway Engineering Supplies in 1975 and began trading to the local engineering companies and tradesmen. In 1990 we started selling camper trailers and camping equipment and then in 1993 we had a name change to Express Tools. Our horizons are constantly expanding and we are now Express Tools and Camping. 

Peter Hands is the founder Express Tools and Camping, and along with his wife, Marelle, and two adult girls Ashley, 26, and Anna, 20, has built a business based on sharing his genuine passion for all things mechanical and his love of camping in the Australian outback and bush. Peter and his family first discovered their love of outback touring in the winter of 1991 when they set off with their first camper trailer around Australia. Since that time Peter and his family have visited all states in Australia in search of  ideal campsites, secluded and with a fine view of the stars, and have found many. When he's not working or off for weeks in the outback, Pete can be found helping to organise the annual Berry Agricultural Show, on the tennis court, taking friends for a spin in an argo or helping his daughters relocate in and out of various locations.

We have a large showroom with extensive displays of hand and power tools and fully set up camping trailers and equipment. We have 6 sales staff and we look forward to serving you in the near future.
